The Login Page handles authentication, while the Landing Page serves as the hotel’s marketing website. Guests connecting to the hotel’s open Wi-Fi are first redirected to the Login Page (also known as the Password Page, Hotspot Page, or Splash Page). Once authenticated, they are then directed to the Hotel Landing Page.  

The reason for the speed issue is, that the way the network has been deployed matters a lot and could be the main reason for the speed issue. QoS needs to be implemented technically to avoid speed issues.
